About shinies in Emmerald

hi, i've got a question, i read once that if your emmerald´s battery has run dry then you can´t get shinies, is it true? and thanks a lot

Uhhhh.... I don't know about that (it's most likely not true) but if your battery runs dry, you can't play in the first place, so.....

Oh man, I haven't heard that in ages! That was a rumour from way back in the day
Catching shinys in Emerald is time based, but concerning screen frames not clock time.
If you can figure the exact frame a shiny appears at, you can abuse the games rng to get a shiny every time (I don't think this applies to starters, you might be able to just soft reset for them)
