I have a few friends who have a big age gap between them and their partners. For exemple, young women in their 20',s with guys who are in their 30',s or even 40',s. Here',s a few things ive noticed about my friends from relationship with older men: -Men seem to enjoy the younger physical appearance of younger women (20',s), often calling them hot ect. -Men seems to think the sex is better (or maybe they juste like to brag). I often hear things like ",she',s the best sex I ever had, higher sex-drive, higher energy, ect..",. -The fact the girl will stay young beautiful much longer then them. -Make them younger, ego-boost, ect.. I think you get the point. Im not saying these are the only reasons older guys date younger women, but it seems like a ",bonus",, if I could say. Im wondering if those things would contribute to men less likely to cheat or go look else where because they just scored a ",young hot woman", . Im curious about experiences or opinions on this. What are the pro',s and con',s from the men',s perspective. Any big no-no a younger woman should avoid doing? *I should add that im not in any way judging these relationships. I for myself previously dated older guys too. I might of choosed the wrong words here. Young girls meaning younger women Sorry for the confusion. English is not my first language. I have more in common with women who are 5+ years younger than I, and my lifestyle and interests are such that I have an easier time meeting them. Single women in their thirties are very often in a hurry to settle down and have kids, or have had kids already and don',t go out much. There',s nothing more nefarious than that going on. I don',t cheat on my partners, and her age has nothing to do with that at all. I feel you on that. I like to drink, go out to bars, and I don',t want kids. I love electronic music and going to see live DJs and that crowd also skews young. I had my online dating account set to show me from 21 up to my own age. In the end I met someone just 2 years younger with similar interests outside and inside the bedroom. While many older women want kids and all that, not all of them do. Younger people are fun and energetic, but adulting is hard and it',s nice to have someone that understands that. I don',t judge age gaps unless it',s abusive, but in the end I',m glad I didn',t end up with a 21 year old. Me too, I don',t if I',m ",immature", but I simply don',t find the stable job-mortgage-family holiday paradigm that a lot of people my age are into. This thread is really stressing me out! Well, in late 30',s and 40',s you can get the early 20',s guys. Lots of guys are into older and more mature women. To be fair tho, I don',t think it',s the case for every guy. I know a lot of men who just want to find love and eventually settle down and have a family, I don',t think these guys are neceseraly looking for someone younger. I',m 30 and I generally date women 25 and younger. While the general trend is that they are in better shape, I',m finding more and more people are really getting into exercise so that',s not always the case. More importantly is that younger women are less likely to want to settle down immediately, which aligns more with what I',m looking for in a relationship. I',m not planning on getting married in 5 years, maybe not even 10, so if a 30 year old woman is looking to get married before she',s 35, we',re not going to be compatible. I think there is another big one that I didn',t see mentioned. Men want to feel needed and appreciated. Younger women are more likely to need help, support, and more importantly appreciate it. You heard from older women ",I don',t need a man, I can take care of myself", and then wonder why they can',t find a man, when they are literally stating the reason themselves. ",I don',t need a man, I can take care of myself", That',s sour grapes a lot of the time. I',ve been in that mindset a few times as a guy myself. Im a woman and i really like my bf and i',s dynamic. I dont think gender roles are that bad of a thing. I dont think chivalry ahould be condemned. He fills the male role in my life, he cares for me, loves me, shows me he cares through actions like fixing my computer and helping me train at the gym. I fill the female role in terms of being nurturing, feminine and caring- and i think this functions well. In life as a woman i can be quite dominating and other women in groups always turn to me, wheb others address my group they address me, i tend to feel quite masculine so far as in to say that i cant relate to very feminine females around me. My bf makes me feel like a woman and its glorious. I mean these aren',t sensible in some cases. 32 year old bloke and I am dating a 23 year old. However. I find 32 year old women attractive. I dated a lot of people. This one',s the current one though. And probably going to be the last person I date honestly. I really like her. It',s not because she',s young. But because she',s in the same position as me. We both have jobs that require us to work strange hours. No. That',s hilarious. You haven',t dated someone aged 30. Hell aged 40. Women have a sex drive. There',s little old ladies rubbing their thighs at the thought of some sexy grandfathers out there. You just need to do the right things to maintain it. Make time and do the things that made her fall for you in the first place. I would rather date for her cooking than just beauty. Look. Relationships aren',t built on just looks. Looks are what drives the initial bit. Anyone can get someone based on looking good. Keeping them requires being more than good looking. Any woman fancying me is an ego boost. It says Dr. before my name and it',s a medical one not a doctorate. I worked abroad. The idea that I am dating a 23 year old who is impressed by my money is daft since I don',t buy her anything.
