Breeding Question (Confused)

Hi I'm trying to breed a HA Adamant Ralts to raise it into a Gallade. So I went to FS and got a Female Adamant HA Kirlia, level her up to level 53 for her to learn hypnosys then start breeding with a ditto.

However the resulting baby only has right nature and HA but doesn't know any moves that the Female Kirlia knows, and I thought mother can pass down moves too for gen 6? Can someone help me out thanks

Pokémon learn moves on different levels so when a Pokémon learns a move at level 53 u will have to train that ralts to level 53 for it to learn the move. At level one they will all have the same moves.

You are correct in the sense that the mother can pass down moves, however they have to be egg moves in order to be passed down

@alwayswannafly, only egg moves pass down to the offspring. Hypnosis is not an egg move, but a move Ralts will learn upon level up.
