[DISCUSSION] I have some unanswered questions

So after spending about an hour on Google just searching and searching with no results I drew a blank. I was wondering "how does the breeding work, and what are evs and ivs and how do they work?" I'm really curious because I want to be able to breed and stuff for the community as well. If anybody has a solid answer, it would be appreciated.

You can get majority of the items for breeding pokes through the battle maison, Im pretty sure.
