[DISCUSSION] Shiny Pokemon of the Day?

Today's Pokemon of the day was Regigigas. I thought that the sprite displayed would always be the normal one since I had never seen the shiny sprite up until now.

Means nothing lol xD You always have a chance of seeing a shiny Pokemon of the Day. I save them all like some others do on the site... it's a nice little surprise now and again
