with all of the stuff that you can do in pokemon, i feel like it would be nice for the game to acknowledge your accomplishments. And also, there was a time when pokemon did have a form of trophy hunting, in the form of medals in Black 2 and White 2. I personally really liked the mechanic and wouldn't mind seeing it return in a future game.

Tbh, I don't think trophies would be a good idea. I'm sure Nintendo would be able to make it work well, but for me, it just seems like it'd be too much, collecting trophies. There's already over eight hundred Pokémon to catch, why make trophies, too?
