How exactly is STAB damage calculated?

@RetroTyphlosion

1- Yes, it's a 50% boost to affected moves.

2- I'm pretty sure STAB is calculated after the super effective damage, so, in the case of Earthquake for example, it'd be 100 x 2 = 200, then 200 x 1.5 = 300.

3- Same goes for not very effective moves; the damage would be cut in half, then get a boost, so something like 100 / 2 = 50, then 50 x 1.5 = 75.

Not so sure about the last two answers, but I'd assume it's correct for the last one at least since STAB definitely doesn't nullify the not very effective damage, and if it works like this for not very effective then I'd assume it works the same for super effective damage. However, if someone else knows the answer I'd love to know. Hope I was able to help anyways.
