I got a shiny! Is it legit?

So... I was traded a shiny Groudon! But I have my suspicions about being a legit pokemon and not hacked. Is there a way to check to be absolutely certain?

And if it IS hacked... will I suffer any in-game reprecussions? (Game being disabled for having illegitimate data on my game/percieved cheating?)

Groudon is shiny locked in ORAS, so its most definitely hacked.

In game repurcussions, as far as I know, none :P

i was told that if it is korean with the pentagon its legit
if it has the pentagon and not korean its not legit
you wont suffer ingame repercussions unless you use it in rated battles or
competitions seeing as 6th gen story legends are shiny locked groudon,kyogre,rayquaza,deoxys and lati@s so dont use it in VGC 2016 lol

As long as you don't use it for ranked battles, you should be fine. I used a hacked shiny Mew (friend's did that QR code exploit) on free battles and it didn't affect me at all.
