It's being 1 hour that I wait for a online battle , i supose everyone switch on ORAS ?

Kind of a given, when a new game comes out the older slowly dwindles to a small circle of players. (rummers of backwards compatibility for battlespot between the games has happened for a while)

You can't battle ORAS players if you use XY, because many animations from ORAS are not in XY, for example, some new Mega Evolutions.
This means that battles between those 2 versions are banned. The problem is code, XY is missing a good portion of ORAS code.
Game Freak decided not to release an update to address this for XY.
This means that in order to stay competitive, XY users need to purchase ORAS and switch completely.
I read about this somewhere in the interwebz some time ago.

This means that you will encounter fewer players at XY.
