Hello community. I'm actually buying Ultra S&M this weekend wayyyy too late to the party. I'm looking to get back into pokemon as detective pikachu resparked my love! Anyone want to teach me the VGC format to help me get back into competitve?

I remember @RetroTyphlosion was really into VGC last year, I'm not sure if he is still playing it now. I like battling too, but just for fun. I'm not really good at doubles, but I'm trying to build a Battle Spot Singles team to play with him.
