Hey everybody, new member to the forums here.
Like most I've played pokemon since I was a kid, I was at the age to get caught up in fad when Red and Blue were first released here in the UK, playing TCG in the playground and watching the newest episodes of the anime (on SMTV Live - I wonder if anyone here remembers that show!)
So yeah, I got back into Pokemon after feeling too old for the genre with Black and White, and during the XY and ORAS years I started to get into the Competitive side of the game. I've built a few teams from the ground up and played a little on Showdown, though there is precious little nearby in way of the VGC; would involve some rather long journeys and the website gives skant details regarding them to begin with.
Anyway come SM I'm getting back into all this and looking to get more involved with the online comunities and not just a bystander watching the VGC tournaments on Youtube.
