New to competitive and forums

Hi! So this is my first time getting into the forums and such for Pokemon, reason being I'm trying to get into the competitive side for the first time. I've been playing Pokemon since I was around 7 I think first game I played woulda been leaf green. So if anyone has some advice for getting into the competitive part I would greatly appreciate it
