Sorry if I post in wrong discussion.

I just want to ask about SRs. does it have a chain?
If I decide to take a break and completely turn my 3ds off and
resume as usual will the chain continue on from before?

I'm trying to get a Shiny Latios in Story mode. almost 2 weeks of SRs.
Sorry kinda new in Pokemon 3DS.

Soft resetting is just resetting your game to the start menu, thus does not chain.
