The luckyest thing ever just happened to me in pokemon and I just had to tell someone. I was breading for a five iv (no special attack) rough skin gible/garchomp for a while just now. I had an adamant 4iv gible (no attack or special attack ) holding an everstone and a six iv ditto holding a destiny knot in the daycare and I was about to hatch the 34th egg when it poped out and it was shiney!! It doesn't end there either I checked its ability and it had the right one (rough skin) then to when I went to check the ivs it had all the perfect ivs I wanted it to have.

I actually ran the calculations and the chances of getting a shiney with those ivs and that ability, under the circumstances, was a .073206442166911 % chance. If you didn't know, those are very low odds

Congratulations! :D The only luck I have ever had while breeding was wanting a single patrat for my dex and it popped out as shiny. I hope your luck sticks and continues throughout your journey!
