one of my friends told me that if i have updated my 3ds i cant use the powersave device.
i also opened a shiny shop on this website somewhere and i would be able to provide more pokemon for the community if i had the powersaves.
what i want to know is can you still clone the pokemon as long as you have the pokemon and can you create a pokemon from scratch?

Powersaves can be used on any firmware so even with a fully updated 3ds you can still you it. But if you want to gen there are some ways that are blocked with the current firmware.
