[S/M] Question about pokemon bank

So on my 2DS i have an downloaded Omega Ruby. So few weeks ago i bought Pokemon Sun (game card, don't download it). Now i wanna send my pokemon from gen 6 to gen 7. I did the purchase on pokemon bank and send 1 pokemon (for testing) from omega ruby to pokemon bank. But the problems is that pokemon bank can't find pokemon sun. Do i need an download version pokemon sun to let the tansfer work?

Please help me, want to start breeding with my 6IV ditto on Pokemon sun.

Pokémon Bank has not yet been updated to transfer 6th generation up to 7th. This update is supposed to happen some time later this month

Yeah i know, but a lot of people want an 6IV Ditto they are very busy
