So I have recently learned of the Smeargle Shiny hunting method and have been experamenting with it. It has gotten me 3 shinys thus fat but I had a question in a worst case senario:
If I happened to accidentaly kill a shiny, do you still have a chance to encounter another one in the same chain if you keep it going or should I end the encounter and start again?
i'm not 100% sure but from what i've read the chance of a shiny being called stays the same after you found one (it shouldn't break the sos encounter chain, and iv's and HA are also based on that)
someone please correct me if i'm wrong on this
I am well into my second hour after I have killed it, I will update if I find anything but I am noticing that I am still getting many HA pokemon and Evolved formes every now and again.
NEWS!! Confirmed, After killing a shiny Eevee I stayed in the chain I was able to encounter a second one 337 S.O.S's later! You can infact get multiple shinys in one encounter should you have the misfoutune of killing one.
