The hardest part has been trying to keep myself from using all of the old pokemon and use only Alolan Pokemon

I'm about 3/4 through the game, and I have my final team.

Incineroar
Salazzle
Mimikyu
Lycanroc
Alolan Raichu
Bewear

My final team was :
- Incineroar
- Braviary
- Leafeon
- Bewear
- Alakazam
- Lycanroc (Day Form)

Really enjoyed Leafeon and Bewear. I don't recommend Lycanroc because all Rock-type attacks are 80%-90% accuracy and it's not very tanky so if Lycanroc misses it's done.

Just before Elite 4 my team at the moment:
- Primarina
- Alolan Raichu
- Salazzle
- Mudsdale
- Alolan Muk
- Lurantis

Alolan Muk has been surprisingly useful While Lurantis has been disapointing so far but thats mostly cause I never need to use it

I couldn't choose between starters, so I ended up breeding/trading for all three. Defiently keeping them until the end of the game.

Probably the first time I've liked all three starters in a generation too.

there are so many good pokemon this gen ;m; it was really hard to pick. In the end my final team is Primarina, Lurantis, Riombee, Silvally, Alola Raichu and Mimikyu

I was having problem early at Lurantis. Deym Leaf sword + power herb.
Anyway, right now I'm about to challenge Elite 4.

Hariyama
Magnezone

I had issues with all of my Dark-type vulnerabilities, but Slowbro was a real boss.
