Personally, I would not stress over the shiny charm. It only really helps when horde hunting and soft-reseting. In the time you use to fill out your dex, you could have done 2,000 soft-resets. I would help you out, but my dex isn't filled out yet either. I probably have 3 or 4 pokemon that you don't. See what I mean? Good luck on your hunts though!
