VGC Introduction For "Newbies"
Hello. This is my first ever Post! I hope I get to make More kinds of these Posts. Depends on how The community likes them. So, This is an Introduction to VGC 2017. Though I can't participate in Live competitions because I have panic attacks triggered by massive crowds(and More, but thats not what you're here for).
Teambuilding
Make sure your VGC team has a counter to the most popular Pokemon in the current metagame, even the Least Popular. You NEVER know when they will show up and you won't know what the heck to do all because you didn't think you would see it, resulting in a loss for you and a win for your opponent. My suggestions are mainly to test your team on the Battle Spot or on Pokemon Showdown. I prefer Battle spot Myslef though. Just because your Pokemon are in-game and you don't have to worry about PKHeXing them or Breeding them. They are already in your game!
