Wanting to get into Competitive

Hey! I'm new to this site. I feel like this is the place to help me get into competitive battling. If you have any tips please let me know. Breeding is one thing I'm wanting to get into because I am trying to get the best. I need a 6IV Ditto. Can anyone tell me how to get one?

Welcome! If you go to the Pokémon Trading, Breeding, and Friend Safari section and post a thread looking for a Ditto, someone will most likely give you one. The video that Unit501 posted is a great beginning guide, but it doesn't go too in depth, so make sure you research things like how to build a balanced team, breeding for perfect IVs (Individual Values), and EV (Effort Value) training. It can seem like a lot at first but I guarantee that if you take it one step at a time, it'll all start making sense!
