Many people are telling me that if I was single prior to this pandemic, then I should be prepared to remain single for along time. And, I'm just not okay with that. I am still desiring of companionship during these crazy times, and not to mention, my biological clock is ticking loudly. I’m early 30s and single. I’m not even looking for a man and have met guys doing basic ****: walking my dog near the park, a friend of my friends man, while I was doing some shopping. If you’re leaving the house you can still meet men! Considering there are men who might be seeking companionship during this time too, it shouldn’t be hard. I know this might be hard to hear, but this is a good time to go all in and focus on yourself. I was happy to have a break to get my mind right for me during this period. Embrace that!! I've been getting extra paranoid over the past month about this though, especially since breaking up with my ex over a month ago.. I am 32 and I do feel like the clock is ticking. Its hard to hear you have time when you want to have kids and you are in your 30s.. or that the high value good men are gone! But deep down somewhere I have hope! NAVIGATING - Online dating. I joined Hinge the other week and quality of men on it is not too bad.. I also joined Luxy, but that is mostly trash. Had 2 dates and. meh lol. - Socially distanced going out to nice bars / restaurant looking extra nice but not over the top.. Might meet guys that way. I swapped numbers with 1 guy so far. And just generally keeping the mind positive. Positive affirmations and believing you can do it! Working on yourself emotionally and physically in this 'down' time. Love Gun. Team Owner. Hmm maybe, but some are using this time as an excuse to NOT take you on dates.. don’t fall for it. MsSetGood. RASS AND CLAT. Meh. I’m turning thirty in a couple months I’ve always been single and people are making me feel that I need to put myself out there and date. And I have put myself out there in dating apps and some people express interest. But I’m not feeling it. As much as I want companionship I’m enjoying my alone time. sometimes I do feel like I’m wasting my best years not dating but it’s not all my fault as I don’t get approached much pre and post covid.
