Lol...primeape...games are my hobby... I rather spend my extra cash on games than buying booze. Don't get me wrong I love to go out and drink with my friends but at the end of the night Im upset when I spend 100 drinking on a Saturday when it could have been invested in games.
It also helps being thrifty and knowing how to haggle. Alot of those games were free and on sale. That list is just the tip of the spear. If you seen the rest of my games you would want to "slap yo momma" so to speak.
Handheld games hold thier value cosiderably well specially nintendo games.
Heck in the last year I found Off Road NES SEALED for $3.00 worth anywhere from 50-100. Pokemon Yellow Mint for 3.00 which I had the box and manual back from when I was younger, that goes for 40-50 complete. 2 copies of gold for 3.00 each loose each are 15-20. Red loose for 3.00 which is 15-20. Crystal for 3.00 which goes for 25-30 loose. Both Zelda OoA and OoS for 3.00 worth 15-20 and my fav find which was Super Metroid for 5 freaking dollars that goes for 55-65 loose.
Its all an investment for me. Sure I Iose some money here and there by buying brand new games but I consider that the entertainment cost. In the end my collections only about 700-800 games deep and even then I still feel its nothing compared to say James (AVGN) or Pats (the nes punk) collection. I think Pat puts everyone on this earth to shame with his collection.
p.s you can check off the Pokemon AS and since Phoenix Wright went on sale for 14.99 I picked that up as well lol.
