If you read the comments people have quoted the original post. It contained Tyranitar initially, but due to lack of synergy was replaced.

but.... like... the japanese sand core was excadrill and tyranitar, and now there is not even anything with sand to do on the team? :P
My sand core is sand veil garchomp with bright powder + tyranitar. yes i am that guy.
