they are special ball that can only get from previous gens. People collect those since in Gen 6 Those special ball can be passed down through breeding if the gender is female.
Dream Ball are from Dream Radar I think.
There are also Other special ball like Safari Balls, Apricorn Balls and Love Ball and so on.
