EV Training Help? - Ozyra - Dec 8, 2014

I bred this Adament Torchic and I think it has good IV's. All stats were mentioned as good from the Judge in the Battle Resort.
Now I'm going to EV train its Attack and Speed. I don't have any power bracelets only a Macho Brace. It also has Pokerus. Doubling the EV it gains.
Tell me if this is correct:
Killing 1 Shuppet gives out 1 EV but with the Macho Brace it doubles so I get 2.With Pokerus (Doubling it again) = 4
I give my Torchic 10 protein that will be 100 EVs.
If I battle a Shuppet horde, I will get 20 EVs (4*5=20)
So if I kill 5 hordes I will get 100 (20*5) , plus the 100 for protein making it 200.
Battle a 2 more hordes making it 240. I remove Macho Brace and kill 1 more horde. Gaining 10 EVs making it 250.
Then killing 1 shuppet for 2 more EV's maxing out the Attack 252.
Also doing this for speed (Killing Zigsagoon) 252
Then putting all remaining into health 6.
252+252+6=510
Is this correct^^^ Been learning all day. Hope I learned it correctly.
And how will I know if I done it correctly? Do I keep the macho brace on as I train it up to level 100?

It would make things a lot easier for you if you got the power bracelets. It shouldn't take to long to get enough BP for them. and this post will help with EV training http://thejustinflynn.tv/forum/showthread.php?tid=97

each poke you faint with
-No Power item & no Pokerus will give you 1ev = 5 total in horde
-Pokerus & no power item will give you 2ev = 10 total in horde
-Power Item & no Pokerus will give you 5ev = 25 total in horde
-Pokerus + power item will give you 10ev = 50 total in horde

you are on the right track, you only need 4 evs in the health since those extra two dont add up to a stat boost, you should also start using super training in the pss to help track your ev spread. you should definitely get the power items as it makes it a lot faster and you will be spending a ton of cash on proteins and the like. if you have the power items you can gain those 100 evs in only two horde battles
