Hi all,
Thought I'd drop a quick hello before I get stuck into the nitty gritty of the forum. I've played Pokémon from day 1 - I've spent the last 20 years playing and never missed a generation.
Recently (I.e. Sun/Moon era) I've started to take breeding seriously with a view to becoming a better competitive player. I started out using resources like Smogon and various YouTube videos, but they all assume you're already proficient in the battling community and thus can be quite intimidating to newcomers.
Hoping here to find a few fellow trainers to learn from/alongside of, and also offer anything I can back to the community. I don't chase shinies, but I'm fairly capable of doing anything else, so let me know if I can help out in any way.

@skulmuk , welcome to Pokemon Forever!
Personally, I am not really into competitive battling, I am more into Battle Tree.
But don't worry, there are people here willing to teach about competitive battling!
And also check out the Discord Channel, there are a lot of friendly people there! :D
