Leo/Fire/Lion Based team for sun and moon - Ozmodayis - Jan 16, 2018
I know this is a bit silly but I have been challenged to make a Leo(astral sign) based team for doubles, I needed some ideas since i can't seem to come up with anything concrete, I was hoping for some feedback if any of you had any, I'm attempting not to use Lengendaries as Solgaleo seems to be a very clear option but I'm not going to dismiss anything, thank you in advance for any time you put into this!

Just to clarify, Its pretty clear that their aren't very many Lions in the game, but stuff related to the leo sign help as well, The Sun, Birth stone is Peridot, It's a Fire sign, Leo's are related to Leadership
I was kinda thinking Maybe Arcanine, though I'm not sure how he fits with the sign, thus why I was asking for any suggestions, Please and Thank you!

Pyroar seems like the most obvious lion Pokémon. It's not a very good Pokémon, but here's something for doubles:
Pyroar @ Choice Specs/Life Orb/Focus Sash
Ability: Unnerve
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid nature
- Heat Wave
- Hyper Voice
- HP-Grass
- Protect
(Overheat or Flamethrower over Protect if Specs)
This set deals some okay spread damage, while HP-Grass hits Rock types that resist Pyroar's STAB moves.
Just max dmg and speed is the most useful.
A support set with moves like Snarl, Helping Hand, Overheat and Will-O-Wisp/Protect with Timid 252 HP, 4 Def, 252 Spe or something, Focus Sash, could be used. I have not tested any of this cause Pyroar isnt very good, but it's the first thing that comes to mind thinking Leo, and these seem to be the most optimal Double sets. Can be customized for more specific things ofc.
