[VGC] M-Venusaur - Attack (Special) - adolf hipstar - Jan 5, 2015 [Image: Venusaur_Mega_XY.gif] Stats: 80 HP, 100 Atk, 123 Def, 122 SAtk, 120 SDef, 80 Spd Ability: Thick Fat (Halves the damage from fire-and-ice type moves.) Build Venusaur @ Venusaurite Ability: Chlorophyll EVs: 220 HP / 196 Def / 28 SpA / 4 SpD / 60 Spe Modest Nature - Sleep Powder - Synthesis / Protect - Giga Drain - Sludge Bomb Offensive Calculations 28+ SpA Mega Venusaur Giga Drain vs. 252 HP / 180+ SpD Rotom-W: 84-102 (53.5 – 64.9%) — guaranteed 2HKO (3HKO all the time) 28+ SpA Mega Venusaur Helping Hand Sludge Bomb vs. 252 HP / 20 SpD Gardevoir: 176-210 (100.5 – 120%) — guaranteed OHKO Defensive Calculations 252+ Atk Parental Bond Mega Kangaskhan Double-Edge vs. 220 HP / 196 Def Mega Venusaur: 117-139 (63.9 – 75.9%) — guaranteed 2HKO 252+ Atk Life Orb Talonflame Brave Bird vs. 220 HP / 196 Def Mega Venusaur: 151-182 (82.5 – 99.4%) — guaranteed 2HKO 252+ SpA Gardevoir Psychic vs. 220 HP / 4 SpD Mega Venusaur: 140-168 (76.5 – 91.8%) — guaranteed 2HKO Summary This pokemon as you can see is quite powerful in both taking and dishing out damage. It has the ability to take a Gardevoir's Psychic and then fainting it with a sludge bomb. The moveset is always standard with your only choice being the ability to heal with synthesis or the ability to nullify a turn's worth of attacks with Protect. My favourite pokemon to pair with this Venusaur is a Scrafty that has access to Quick Guard because it makes Talonflame completely useless against it. Your biggest threat is still Talonflame so a pokemon like Garchomp works great as a team-mate. RE: [VGC] M-Venusaur - Attack (Special) - Justin - Jan 6, 2015 lol isn't this Jedi's build ..
