Milotic - Tank (Special) - GoldenLapras - Nov 16, 2014 Marvel Scale if the Pokemon is statused, it's Defense becomes 1.5x Milotic @ Assault Vest Ability: Marvel Scale EVs: 126 HP / 252 SpA / 130 SpD IVs: 31Hp / 31Def / 31SAtk / 31SDef / 31Spe (Optional) Calm Nature - Hydro Pump - Dragon Pulse/Protect - Ice Beam - Scald This type of Milotic is an amazing tank when it comes to status conditions with the ability Marvel Scale which boosts it's defense when it is effected by a status problem, which is very common in competitive Smogon. The IV spread in Speed is optional because if you run a Trick Room team, or even Sticky Web team, you won't need it. The EV spread is like so because Milotic already has a pretty large base SDef stat with the extra EV's invested to it, it becomes unbelievably bulky specially. I recommend using this Milotic if you need balance in an UU team or even just to tank extra hits to outlast a burn/toxic stall. Protect, in my opinion instead of Dragon Pulse, is better because of the burn/toxic stall I was talking about. Hope this Milotic helps you out!
