Doubles Hail Team Needs Upgrading - OdysseusHestia - Jul 26, 2015
Alright so I wanted to be original and put together a Hail Team. I need some upgrades. Suggestions and Tips are greatly appreciated. I was thinking about getting rid of Jynx Here is my Hail Doubles Team:
Abomasnow @Abomasnowite
Ability:Snow Warning
Nature: Brave
Ev: 252 Attack, 252 SP. Attack, 6 SP. DEF
-Grass Whistle
-Brick Break
-Wood Hammer
-Ice Shard
This is my mega that makes any immediate threats go to sleep and some and also has ice shard for priority moves.
Froslass @Brightpowder
Ability: Snow Cloak
Nature: Timid
Ev: 252 SP. Attack, 252 Speed, 6 HP
-Blizzard
-Shadow Ball
-Destiny Bond
-Thunder Wave
Froslass is hard to hit. Its role is to paralyze everyone and use its ok Sp. Attack and speed to sweep.
Jynx @Red Card
Ability: Forewarn
Nature:Timid
EV: 252 SP. DEF, 252 Speed, 6 DEF
-Trick Room
-Light Screen
-Copy Cat
-Reflect
Jynx is the setup pokemon. Trick room makes Abomasnow move first. And jynx setups reflect and light screen. Copy Cat could be any move thats why i choose that move. :/
Avalugg @Leftovers
Ability: Ice Body
Nature:Brave
EV:252 DEF, 252 DEF, 6 Speed
-Earthquake
-Recover
-Hail
-Avalanche
Avalugg is the Tank that gets rid of all he can on the field.
Aurorus @Life Orb
Ability: Refridgerate
Nature: Brave
EV: 252 Sp. Atk, 252 Sp. Def, 6 DEF
-Psychic
-Freeze Dry
-Thunderbolt
-Ancient Power
Aurous is both a tank and a sweeper... and I like using freeze Dry
Cloyster @King's Rock
Ability: Skill Link
Nature: Adamant
EV:252 Atk, 252 Def, 6 Hp
-Icicle Spear
-Rock Blast
-Shell Smash
-Substitute
Cloyster is another sweeper. i setup for one or two turns then sweeps the team.

You don't need 6 ice pokemon to make a hail team. This is more of a mono ice team instead of a hail team, which can hurt you pretty bad. :[
It's kind of like making a sun team with 6 fire pokemon; It makes you lack coverage and gives you a building full of weaknesses. For example: If someone leads charizard Y against your team you basically just lose.
