Help with trick room mega garchomp team - tudor28 - Aug 16, 2015

My team is:
Aromatisse @ Babiri Berry
Ability: Aroma Veil
Level: 50
EVs: 248 HP / 8 SpA / 252 SpD
Sassy Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Protect
- Heal Pulse
- Trick Room
- Moonblast

Aromatisse is here to set the trick room. And with her ability she blocks taunt, disable and encore. Also she is here to scare the dragons since i prefer to open with aromatisse and garchomp. also heal pulse is there to keep alive the rest of the team. And thx to her bulkiness, she will set the trick room if not flinched.
252+ Atk Life Orb Bisharp Iron Head vs. 248 HP / 0 Def Babiri Berry Aromatisse: 125-148 (60.3 - 71.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252+ SpA Aegislash-Shield Flash Cannon vs. 248 HP / 252+ SpD Babiri Berry Aromatisse: 33-40 (15.9 - 19.3%) -- possible 6HKO
252 SpA Mega Venusaur Sludge Bomb vs. 248 HP / 252+ SpD Aromatisse: 116-138 (56 - 66.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Garchomp @ Garchompite
Ability: Rough Skin
Level: 50
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def
Brave Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Protect
- Rock Slide
- Dragon Claw
- Earthquake

Garchomp was already a beast. Mega evolving him is even better. His speed is his problem. But since mega garchomp has a lower base speed than mega gardevoir (and there are some mega gardevoir trick rooms) i had the idea of pairing him with tyranitar ( since he also has a low speed) and with sand force ability m-garchomp gets a nice boost. Fairy and ice attacks will cause him a lot of trouble.

252 SpA Pixilate Mega Gardevoir Hyper Voice vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Mega Garchomp: 186-222 (86.5 - 103.2%) -- 18.8% chance to OHKO
252+ Atk Mega Abomasnow Ice Shard vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Mega Garchomp: 136-168 (63.2 - 78.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
0 SpA Milotic Ice Beam vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Mega Garchomp: 144-172 (66.9 - 80%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
52+ SpA Thundurus Hidden Power Ice vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Mega Garchomp: 136-160 (63.2 - 74.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
68 SpA Zapdos Hidden Power Ice vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Mega Garchomp: 124-148 (57.6 - 68.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252+ SpA Life Orb Pixilate Sylveon Hyper Voice vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Mega Garchomp: 198-237 (92 - 110.2%) -- 56.3% chance to OHKO

Jellicent @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Cursed Body
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpA
Relaxed Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Trick Room
- Recover
- Scald
- Ice Beam

Jellicent is the 2nd trick room setter bcs is bulky and can take hits. Also her ability can disable moves from my opponent and disrupt his game. Also she is there to throw scald and maybe get some burns, and ice beam is there to scare of landorus-t.

Volcarona @ Lum Berry
Ability: Flame Body
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpA
Quiet Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Protect
- Rage Powder
- Fiery Dance
- Bug Buzz

Volcarona is here to redirect attacks and since mega venusaur was one of my problems i picked volcarona to finish him off. Also Volcarona is a 2hit KO on cresselia, and since most of cresselia have ice attacks, it removes a threat for garchomp. Plus it's flame body may be able to pick a burn for me. Unfortunatelly, rock slide kills her.

Tyranitar @ Chople Berry
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def
Brave Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Protect
- Ice Beam
- Rock Slide
- Superpower

Tyranitar is here to activate mega garchomp ability and together start inflicting damage. Rock slide gets some serious damage, superpower is here for mega kangaskhan and ice beam is here to ko landorus, since intimidated or burned ice punch won't do the job.

Ferrothorn @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Atk / 252 Def
Relaxed Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Protect
- Leech Seed
- Iron Head
- Power Whip

Since all the water pokemons have ice beam, ferrothorn is here to scare them off, and also the fairy types. 2 for 1 pokemon. I picked iron head instead of gyro ball bcs if my opponent also runs trick room the damage won't be big and also because iron head gives me a chance to flinch my opponent.

RE: Help with trick room mega garchomp team - Delta - Aug 17, 2015

I am just going to give a brief run down.

A.
I would not run Chople Berry on Tyranitar because most fighting type attacks will KO you anyways. I would run Weakness Policy instead, so you can capitalize on your many weaknesses and still retain insane amounts of bulk.

B.
Instead of Jellicent, why not try Gardevoir when it comes to a second Trick Room setter? Now I know what you are thinking, "But Delta! Why would you want to use Gardevoir as a Trick Room setter?" Well, I'll tell you. It all lies in a little ability called Telepathy. Basically, Gardevoir cannot get hit by Garchomp's Earthquake, and it can fire off it's own powerful attacks. This is not a mandatory thing, but it is a thing that works.
