hey sorry im new silly question, i was updating my profile and am confused what pokemon IGN is i just put my name since thats what i saw other people doing, thanks

When you hatch an egg, or capture a Pokemon, your trainer name gets added to them.
OT = Original Trainer
IGN = In Game Name = Your OT
What do you call yourself inside your game? :P

It means in game name/in game trainer name.
