Championship Points For The 2016 Pokemon Season {OFFICAL} - princessgamer24 - Sep 5, 2015 VGC events that award Championship Points include: Select Online Competitions Premier Challenges Premier Challenges with 65 or more total players will receive elevated status and award more points Midseason Showdowns Regional Championships National Championships Points Required to Qualify for the World Championships Information regarding the point qualification for the 2016 World Championships will be released at a later time. Understanding the Championship Points System Each Championship Series event has a Best Finish Limit. This is the maximum number of scores that can count for that series, with higher-scoring placements replacing lower scores. For example, if you play in 8 Premier Challenge events, only your 6 best scores will be counted. VGC Championship Points Tables Championship Points will be used to determine various awards during the 2015–2016 season, including Pokémon World Championships invitations.
