Information regarding the point qualification for the 2016 World Championships will be released at a later time.
Understanding the Championship Points System
Each Championship Series event has a Best Finish Limit. This is the maximum number of scores that can count for that series, with higher-scoring placements replacing lower scores. For example, if you play in 8 Premier Challenge events, only your 6 best scores will be counted.
VGC Championship Points Tables
Championship Points will be used to determine various awards during the 2015–2016 season, including Pokémon World Championships invitations.
