Hey, I'm not sure if this is why, but shortly before reposting I actually caught a Ditto. Before that, I had to manually type in the name.  Now it could be a coincidence, but you were able to find mine right after I caught one.  Could this be what is causing the issue?  Hope this helps, and thanks so much for all your hard work!
