Serial code location?

I recently got a new 2ds XL white/orange, but I can't find the serial code on it. The closest thing is a code that is beneath the barcode. I need it because apparently it is necessary for me to transfer my old games, so I've been told.

@Reis Just Googled it for you. The number on the white sticker on the back of your 2ds (so, the number under the barcode), is your serial number.
