Question: Online Rating Battle

So I finally went ahead and synced up my game to my pokemon-GL account, I just went into the option menu to select special battles to get some feeling for a team I just finished.  Only problem is it keep saying that every item I use there is at least one that is "a banned held item."  Anyone know what's up with this message?  I've never gotten it before now.

Items used on team are: 1.Life Orb (or) Sitrus Berry, 2.Shuca Berry, 3.Wacan Berry, 4.Gardevoirite, 5.Ampharosite, 6.Weakness policy.

i think you're only allowed berries for this seasons special battles

Ah, touche I did see something about that while on GL. Probably should've taken a look at it. Thanks for the response.
