First time here. I play Pokemon to catch and train most of them. My team is usually made up of chilhood favourites. I have Y and Alpha Sapphire, but I mainly play Y to train my pokemon and hatch shiny versions of my favourites. Feraligatr is my favourite pokemon and I still desperately wish I could transfer mine from Silver for the GBC.

My Friend Safari is Ghost with Lampent, Phantump, and Spiritomb if I remember correctly. Currently on the lookout for Fire and Water Friend Safaris.

You could, I'm not sure how Friend Safaris work atm, though. Do I need to activate mine? I've not looked in to it yet.

I'm not entirely sure how adding through the Friend code works myself. I think we both type it in through the 3DS menu. The little orange smiley face. Friend Safari shows up after the end game.
