Getting Back into VGC

Hey everyone, so I haven't played VGC in a couple of months. I'm assuming not all that much has changed, but I'd like to get some feedback on a team I saw that was posted by the official Pokemon site yesterday. Christoph Kugeler, the Masters Division Regional Champion, used this team to win. I liked the idea of using Mega Manectric since it's a Pokemon that's not used all that much in VGC. Both it's Lightning Rod ability and it's Mega ability Intimidate work well with this team. Lightning Rod helps redirect supereffective Electric attacks aimed at Kyogre while it's Mega ability helps patch up any defensive weaknesses this team may have. My only question about the team is the EV spreads. They didn't post what those were so I went with standard 252/252/4 spreads but I know I can optimize those better. I'm also assuming that he used Hidden Power Ice but the site didn't say which HP he was using. If a could get some feedback on better EV spreads, I'd appreciate it!
