To redeem a code, you go into Mystery Gifts in the menu when you see your file in the beginning. Must have Wifi.
Mystery Gift > Receive Gift > Open Channel, say Yes > Get with Code > Connect to Internet
Enter the code you recieved or got it from and click End. Once you've finished,
Go into your save file game and find your nearest Pokemon Center.
Ask the maid on the left in the Pokemon Center and you'll receive the Pokemon Gift.
Immediately save the game after receiving the Pokemon Gift because you can only get it once.
