Honestly, I really think Dunsparce needs a mega. It already gets Drill Run, and giving it a Ground typing would make it a STAB. It also gets a lot of other moves by TM. Sand Force + 160 base attack would make it do a lot of damage. I know I added more than 100 to its stats, but I also subtracted 50 from its Speed and SpA. This Mega Dunsparce would do really well in a Trick Room team.

Gyro Ball- Rock Slide- Drill Run- Protect
This Mega Dunsparce set could be very overpowered, if it were real. It would outspeed everything under Trick Room, and in sand it could easily sweep. With its very low speed stat, it could hit extremely hard with Gyro Ball, and could spam Rock Slide under Trick Room and get lots of flinches.
Damage Calculations:
252+ Atk Sand Force Mega Dunsparce Gyro Ball (150 BP) vs. 4 HP / 0 Def Mega Kangaskhan in Sand: 142-168 (78.4 - 92.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after sandstorm damage
252+ Atk Parental Bond Mega Kangaskhan Double-Edge vs. 4 HP / 120 Def Dunsparce: 145-172 (82.3 - 97.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252+ Atk Dunsparce Gyro Ball (150 BP) vs. 240 HP / 0 Def Sylveon: 308-364 (154 - 182%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252+ SpA Choice Specs Pixilate Sylveon Hyper Voice vs. 4 HP / 156 SpD Dunsparce: 130-154 (73.8 - 87.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
I am in total agreement that Dunsparce needs a mega evolution, although I always had the idea he'd become a Normal/Dragon, but Normal/Ground sounds just as good! For abilities? Either Intimidate, or as you suggested Sand Force! And Mega Evolving would give a strong boost to Dunsparce's Attack, Defense and Special Defense.
