But for the destiny knot besides trading it from x and y the only other way I see getting one is by having a high level pokemon with the ability pickup accidentally find one
a very very late response because by now you will probably have multiple destiny knots, but nonetheless: A destiny knot in ORAS can be found after battling a Young couple (Louis and Hal) for the 2nd (or more) time in the abandoned ship (Sea Mauville)

But can't I use 6IV ditto's with destiny knot as a start and then just swap out the pokémon I want (with the correct nature, holding the everstone), untill I get 5/6IV. Unless you don't have a 5/6IV ditto from some give away here ofcourse, but isnt that a lot faster :O? (Takes me like 5-10 eggs to get the 5IV's I want normally :O)
