As a weeb, I'm pretty familiar with the creatures and spirits of Japanese folklore. My personal favourite, that I would absolutely love see become a Pokemon, is a Bakeneko. It'd fit right in, too. A ghost/dark type, with something like Transform as its ability, since Bakeneko are shapeshifers.

I'd kill to have one of those in a moon ball XD
