Hey everyone!
I really don't speak all that often but I was wondering what anime you guys would recommend for me. I've only watched Attack on Titan, Sword Art Online, One Punch Man, Tokyo Ghoul and the Seven Deadly Sins. I am watching Full Metal Alchemist now, and plan to watch Naruto after that. Do you guys have any recommendations on what I should watch next? It does not need to be an anime either but there wasn't a general tv show category. I also enjoyed black mirror and the magicians.

Hey it's Crystalee and I'm here to do my monthly showcase of sketches. here's April 2018 for you all!
*gotta think of something* So Sunday night I did actually get myself a shiny Cyndaquil while hunting Chikorita in Heart Gold which is alright but not my main target, and also Crystal's birthday is at April 30th which still is for a tad of you people so Happy/late happy birthday to Crystal! Alright now lets get on with the sketches

1. Crystal kicking training. (04/01/18) This one I thought of doing since I haven't really done anything much with what Crystal does so I decided to do what she did in the Manga at one point... which was training at kicking pokeballs. Not really proud of the Chikorita I done but oh well..

2. Shrugging Sonic. (04/02/18) So I think I made his body like real big but eh I don't have much to say about this sketch so... Sonic is disappoint with you all at something...

3. Crystal eye pose. (04/02/18) I wanted to try out those v sign fingers that people do when they put their fingers over their eye.. You know what I mean.. uhm right?

4. Kris during battle. (04/02/18) Sorta wanted to make a sketch of Kris ordering her Pokemon to do a move... I got a little idea of something I want to draw when/if I get a drawing tablet

5. Kirby and the Dees. (03/04/18) I really do want to draw some Kirby stuff so here what my 1st/2nd sketch was all about.. It's cute

6. Crystal shrugging. (04/04/18) Wait don't we already have somebody shrugging this month? Is this month just disappoint towards me? I hope not...

7. Dark Crystal. (05/04/18) So like I was on this phase of Mario and Luigi Bowser's Inside Story... I kinda wanted to make a Dark Crystal so I did... of course no color but I did add a list of the changes that would happen

8. Kirby vs Dedede. (05/04/18) Of course I'm still learning how to draw Kirby characters... I mean look at Dedede.. he's so funny looking when I draw him.. *Giggle*

9. Chilled Crystal. (05/04/18) Actually made this while at my friend's house showing "Hey I can draw this character with no photo examples, watch"

10. Escargoon Crystal Cosplay. (06/04/18) You can really see after Star Allies I really had a Kirby phase... I really loved Escargoon for RBAY so I did a Crystal Cosplay which I thought was quite funny.

11. Crystal on the swings with Waddle Dee. (07/04/18) This one is real cute to me.. Basically one of my favorites now. I just love how adorable this is.

12. Short Tempered Crystal. (08/04/18) I don't really know what to say about this... Crystal is getting angry at something.

13. Team Rocket Crystal. (10/04/18) She whispers to show she is a spy watching what Team Rocket is doing.

14. Crystal sitting and thinking. (10/04/18) Basically been doing sketches based on my emotions at this time... and I literally sometimes do this exact thing as this sketch. But I find it like really really cute

15. Friend's Furret OC. (11/04/18) So this was my first ever request given.. A friend tried getting my attention at 2am to ask if I could draw her OC for her since she says she's not the best at drawing human shapes.

16. Crystal Cry. (12/04/18) Another one... based on my emotions, basically a run away from fears and giving up on stuff.

17. Sparkle eyes Crystal. (13/04/18) She looks up in the sky getting inspired to get going on a new adventure.

18. Crystal Meta Knight cosplay. (14/04/18) I done a Marx, a Dedede... Even a Escargoon cosplay but not a Meta Knight... So here we go!

19. Crystal Overalls trouble. (16/04/18) Basically made this drawing like she has never wore overalls before and doesn't really know how they work. Since she just hates the look of them and all.

20. Crystal, I bring no trouble. (17/04/18) Basically wanted to try out new hand jesters and really want to improve my hat drawing skills.

21. Crystal falling 1. (18/04/18) So I did do a resketch of this but they looked so different I decided to add both here anyway..

27. Mighty the Armadillo. (26/04/18) Really love Mighty as a character in Sonic so I decided since he just got a trailer in Mania Plus I would draw him.

28. HeraCrystal. (26/04/18) Just a Crystal with her Heracross love.. nothing more.

29. Cryson ship. (27/04/18) So this ship is me (on the right) and my friend Carson.. Who I actually don't think is on this website.. but here's my first drawing of me and him... I'm actually quite proud of how we both came out tbh...

31. Happy Birthday Crystal! (30/04/18) "Thank you Xatee and the rest of my companions for these gifts this year" If you didn't know Crystal's birthday is on the 30th of April and I couldn't miss the chance of drawing this cutee for her birthday. Also.. Birthday hat and that's Xatee holding her present

Just kidding, you all know what this is: the psuedo-official Meet & Greet Thumbnail Submission Thread! (Provided my and Your's Truly).

Before we begin, I would like to thank everyone involved in the April 2018 Meet & Greet for accepting and appreciating the artwork I have provided as the thumbnail. I admit I could have and probably should have done better, but all the same I am very grateful.

The way this works is very simple: members of PokémonForever post their own specially made artwork onto this thread with the intention of becoming future Meet & Greet thumbnails and banners, and then the Admins of this website choose whatever artwork they feel would work best for that month's Meet & Greet (while crediting the artist of course).

The rules, too, are very simple, as well as few and far between:
--The artwork must include Pokemon and/or Pokeballs or other Pokemon paraphinelia.
--The artwork must clearly represent the intended month's Meet and Greet theme in one way or another.
--The artwork must be kid friendly; this is PokemonForever, not e621.

Welcome to the weekly music thread where I will be discussing songs, albums or artists I've been listening to this week, and also potentially new releases in different genres! Let's get straight into it!

New releases!

Alright I'll be honest; I just listened to Cardi B's new album Invasion of Privacy (explicit) once and this review will be really bad because of that. It was alright. Beats were pretty cool and not too repetitive, she used some flows a couple times but it wasn't that bad. She had good energy throughout the project. The song with Migos was garbage. The one with YG too. The Chance the Rapper feature was cool, the SZA one too. Intro track was cool. It was alright, don't see myself coming back to it because it wasn't really outstanding or anything but there were some cool songs and i would say it wasn't that bad of a debut album. Sorry again for the bad review.

Famous Dex is one of the few "mumble rappers"/trap rappers I usually enjoy because he has a crazy voice and a unique style, but Dex Meets Dexter (explicit) was very disappointing. To make it short and sweet, on one half of the album, he's basically using the same flow on all the more "rap" songs, while on the other half, he does that rapping/singing with autotune stuff, and while it's not necessarily bad, I just think he's not especially good at it and that guys like Young Thug and Travis Scott are much better at it, so if I felt like listening to that kind of music I'd rather listen to their stuff. A lot of tracks also felt pretty lazy and felt like filler. Pick It Up was a very good track though, beat is really nice and I love A$AP Rocky, so that's the favourite.

Now the real gem that dropped this week was Isolation, the new Kali Uchis album (one song is explicit and theres another one thats explicit in spanish so there's that). I already loved Kali Uchis because of her apparitions on projects like Cherry Bomb and Flower Boy from Tyler, the Creator, Freudian from Daniel Caesar and the new Gorillaz album, and because of her project Por Vida. However, Por Vida was pretty short and left me wanting more, and boy was I satisfied with her following album; the features were all amazing to me (especially Steve Lacy and Tyler, the Creator!) and the songs all felt different and fresh. For example, one the intro track Body Language has a lot of bossa nova influences, while tracks like songs like Feel Like A Fool are more poppy. While all the songs are very different, the album still feels really cohesive, and no song really feels like filler. The production on this album was also great; I was very surprised to see production from Romil Hemnani from BROCKHAMPTON on Just A Stranger and from Kevin Parker of Tame Impala on Tomorrow (a surprise, to be sure, but a welcome one!). The length of the project also was very nice; I feel like between 12 and 15 is a really good number of songs (kind of a dumb point probably but this is important to me for some reason). Her voice is also amazing (pretty straight to the point but I don't have much else to say about that im not a professional dont bully me ok). Overall, I heavily recommend this project to anyone; I feel that between the album has something to offer for everyone, whether you like more poppy, fast-paced songs like Dead To Me and Your Teeth In My Neck or slow ballads like Flight 22. Favourite songs would be Just A Stranger, Flight 22 and After The Storm.

Welcome to the weekly music thread where I will be discussing songs, albums or artists I've been listening to this week, and also potentially new releases in different genres! Let's get straight into it!

New releases!

I didn't hear about a ton of new releases this week, but The Weeknd, canadian rnb singer, dropped a 6 songs EP called My Dear Melancholy (has some explicit songs). I'm not a huge Weeknd fan, but his music is pretty enjoyable in general, and this EP is no exception; it's definitely not going to be in my favourites of the year, but it is a good project and I will most likely gonna be coming back to it from time to time. Favourite tracks are Call Out My Name and Privilege.

Rapper Rich the Kid dropped an album called The World is Yours (very explicit), and while it will probably have very mixed reactions since it is pretty much "mumble rap", I personally thought it was alright. It's definitely not a contender for album of the year or anything, but it is pretty decent, and some tracks have a lot of replay value. While tracks like Plug Walk, New Freezer (with Kendrick Lamar) and Dead Friends do not have lot of meaning, the beats, flows and overall sound make up for it, making this a pretty enjoyable album to me. However, some tracks feel like filler and while they aren't necessarily bad, I just don't really see myself listening to them again unless they are in a playlist or something. Favourite tracks would be the tracks I mentioned earlier.

Still in the hip-hop world, Tyler, the Creator dropped a song called OKRA (explicit) as a throwaway, and it is really good for a throwaway. This has to be one of the best distorted 808 I ever heard; reminds me of RonnyJ's production, but on steroids. The flows Tyler has on the song are all really good, though the lyrical content could be better; instead of the more profound songs like those found on Flower Boy, his last album, this is mostly a bragging song talking about his Grammy nomination among other things, which I think is fine since he did drop this as a throwaway. It's kinda short as well, only 2:39, but then again it is a throwaway, and while that doesn't excuse everything, it would be unfair to expect an full song. I don't have a lot to say about it since it's a single song, but I definitely recommend it!

Stuff I've been listening to!

The Olympians' self-titled album (non explicit, theres no word lol)

I got introduced to this band and their album and it's slowly becoming one of my favourite instrumental albums. I'm a big fan of jazz and soul music, so the retro-soul/jazz/funk sound of this album was perfect for me. The album manages to stay consistent with their sound while having songs that all feel like they have their own place; no songs really sound the same or sound like filler, which makes it even better. While it may not seem like a big deal, the length of the album was also really nice; I feel like sometimes, long albums tend to have more filler songs and become boring quicker, but this 40 minutes album was just perfect. My favourite song by far would be the first track, Sirens of Jupiter, and I also liked Diana by My Side a lot.

Groenland- The Chase (non explicit)

This band from Montreal have been making very enjoyable alternative/indie music for a few years, and I've been listening to their first album The Chase a lot. The production is very nice throughout the whole project, and the strings section of most songs are amazing. A lot of the songs have this very theatrical, kind of ominous sound that I like a lot; for example, the song Immune, my favourite, has a very dramatic feel to it, mostly because of the strings section once again, that makes it stand out a lot, and in a good way. The voice of the singer is also very enjoyable; she has a very smooth voice and her vocal range is pretty nice, she can hit some really beautiful notes. Like the previous album I talked about, every song feels different, there's not a lot of filler, the album as a whole is very well put together and the production on the songs is amazing, I very highly recommend this. My favourite songs are Immune, La pieuvre and Our Last Shot.

I only talked about albums this time, but I will also talk about songs and artists as a whole in the next threads, so stay tuned for that if you want to read about more stuff!

Sketches I've done in March 2018

Hey again guys! Firstly I'll say Happy Easter to all of you who celebrates it and hope you have a great time! And secondly I apologize incase I broke a rule about making more threads on basically the same topic..
Anyway this is gonna be a long one since I'm showing about 20 sketches I've done this month and a sentance or 2 about them.
1.Welp looks like I started the month with a kinda dark sketch... Basically an alternative dimension with the evil team (in this case Rocket) actually winning and Crystal losing the battle agaisnt them (Mar 2)

2. This was actually in my top 5 sketches I believe but it's Crystal waving in her lab uniform. (Mar 3)

3. Huh not a Crystal sketch? I haven't done another Pokemon character in about a year so I decided to try doing another Blue/Green Sketch and here's how it came out (Mar 4)

4. I don't really know how I feel about this sketch now.. Tried doing those love hand poses.. but I don't really know how to do heart shapes (Mar 4)

5. Did a sketch of Mario due to Mar10 day so of course I had to (Mar 10)

6. Probably one of my favorites due of how cute I thought she was. (Also in my top 5 list) (Mar 11)

7. I think I only did a sketch of Crystal sleeping because of how I felt... tired (Mar 11)

8. I did this due of how I think Crystal would act upon if danger gets close to her students (Mar 12)

9. I did this to see how much I progessed doing Crystal heads and emotions and I can say I'm getting better (Also for a twitter background thingie) (Mar 13)

10. First time doing a full sketch in school since it was a revision time.. I sorta didn't have a usable computer in the session so I used the hour to draw (Mar 14)

11. Actually this could be number 10.. but the tweet says otherwise so I'm gonna say this is 11, based off when Mario throws Cappy in Odyssey. (Mar 14)

12. How I think Crystal feels about her HG/SS costume, embarrassed (Mar 17)

13. Did this one basing of Sonic's tipping over an edge pose from Mania.. (Mar 17)

14. Did this since I thought it would be cute seeing Crystal lying in a flower field. (Mar 18)

15. Did this for pinkness even if it isn't colored.. Also the release of Kirby Star Allies. Shiny Celebi, Kirby and Crystal have something pink in them (Crystal's shirt is Redish/Pinkish) (Mar 19)

16. Just needed to get back into something a bit more simple so it's just Crystal with her hands behind her back looking off in the distance (Mar 21)

17. Also another simple one but I'm now trying to curve Crystal's front part of her hair now (Mar 22)

18. Well this is basically what she had after lying in the flower field. She's holding some of the flowers she got there (Mar 24)

19. Crystal in a Dedede costume.. But she doesn't like holding the heavy hammer nor like clobbering others around. (Mar 25)

20. Hmm this seems familiar. Basing it off the other Sonic Mania sprite of tipping the other way. (Mar 26)

21. I use to nibble on chocolate just like that... (Mar 27)

22. Crystal is now in a Marx costume, another Kirby character.. I really just love the characters way to much.. (Mar 27)

23. And finally the last one of the month is Crystal's Easter costume.. kinda simple but she's also hold an Easter egg (Mar 31) (Main features are the Pink ears, the pink clothes with a bunny head in the middle and a bunny puffed tail. The egg also has a wave and stars)

Well that took 20 mins to create but do you guys like what I draw, and if you want to tell me how to improve, your favorite etc I'm more than happy to hear what you guys have to say
Also if I can do this monthly I will... It's just if I'm breaking the rules or not...

Hey people! I've decided after recommended me to reach out with my drawings I decided to post some onto here. Thank you for the idea!
I got to much drawings to show off so I'm just gonna pick 5 of my favorite Crystal drawings from the Pokemon Adventures Manga.
1. Crystal with her workplace costume. 03/11/18. Thought I did a great job drawing this and found it really adorable.

2. Crystal in a Chikorita costume/onesie. 02/11/18, edited 03/10/18. Just really loved how I designed her costume and she seems to like the leaf.

3. Crystal hugging Suicune. 12/23/17 edited at 01/23/18. This was a really old sketch I created and I still love it, this was one of the first drawings that told me I could draw what I want if I put my mind to it.

4. Crystal in her Lab outfit waving. 03/03/18, edited 10/03/18. Just love how innocent she looks while waving at you.

5. Crystal in her HG/SS outfit looking in the distance. 02/19/18 edited 03/10/18. Love the facial expression and how she's looking ahead with her hand up where her hat is.

So what do you guys think? I really love these sketches I created.. Do you want to see more of my sketches.. I have around 40 Crystal sketches.. uhm I have a real obsession with Crystal if you didn't know.. I also try doing Sonic the Hedgehog and Mario sketches/drawings to if you want to see those.
