How to get PKHeX and the Homebrew channel!

Okay! Hello there people! To get PKHeX, you must first download these files onto your SD card. Here are the steps:

Materials needed:
A STANDARD WHITE THEME SCREEN! It needs to be a white theme for this to work. NEVER CHANGE THE THEME!
PC and
a 3DS/3DS XL/2DS
SD Card reader (Only if you dont already have an SD card slot on your PC)

Instructions:

1.Insert your SD card into your PC and download the files from this website onto your SD card. (If it doesnt come with a save manager look up save manager on google and download it onto the SD card and put it into the 3ds folder)
2.Turn on your 3DS (assuming you have one) and go to the browser. Hit 'initialize save data' in the tool bar.
3.Wait for the browser to close and re-open it.
4.Type in this url (Depending on your 3ds):
If your using a NEW 3DS, go to this url:http://yls8.mtheall.com/browserhax_fright_tx3g.php
If your using an OLD 3DS, go to this url:http://yls8.mtheall.com/spider28hax.php
5.Wait for the screen to load and you should be in the homebrew channel!
6.Download menuhax (If you read carefully you should see it in the apps)
7.Shut your 3DS down and turn it back on while holding L.
8.Go to your save manager and click 'A', 'Backup savedata'
9.Hit 'X' and wait til the screen loads.
10. When the screen loads, remove your SD card and put it in your PC.
11.Download PKHeX from here and open it
12.When done making/editing/cloning your pokemon, click on the 'File' tab on PKHeX, click on 'Export SAV', click on 'Export main', overwrite the file that comes up (It should be called 'main'), close PKHeX(You dont have to), remove your SD card from your PC and put it in your 3DS.
13.Go to your save manager and open it, hit 'B', hit 'X', and press Start.
14.Open your game and your stuff should be there!

That was my very long and (Hopefully not) confusing tutorial on getting PKHeX and the Homebrew channel!

System Firmware (9.9.0-26) (Heard it works in 10.0.0 even if you set 9.9.0 EU/US in the TubeHAX).
Works in New Nintendo 3ds XL!

This tutorial IS OUTDATED, TUBEHAX ISN'T WORKING AT THE MOMENT, READ PAGE 6 for more info

Works for XYORAS, both physical and digital games.

What you're going to need:------------------------------------------------------------------

1st, Youtube app. (if you dont have it already)

2nd, Install TubeHax. (TubeHax allows users to run Homebrew on their DS by using a exploit on the youtube app)

How to install TubeHax?------------------------------------------------------------------

1. Go to the eshop and download the youtube app. If you already have it make sure you have the latest version.
2. Download This - https://smealum.github.io/ninjhax2/starter.zip
3. Extract all the files of the starter kit you just downloaded and place them on the root of your 3ds SD card. Replace files if you have to.
4. On your 3DS, open the System Settings app, then go to Internet Settings and Connection Settings. From there, select your favorite Connection, tap the Change Settings button, and on the second page head over to the DNS section. Once there, select "No" for "Auto-obtain DNS", and under Detailed Setup, enter the following address : 107.211.140.065. Double check that the DNS address is correct.
5. Save these new settings and close the System Settings app. If you still don't understand well what you are supposed to do check smealum's video.
6. Open the YouTube app and be really carefull here!! It should redirect you to a firmware selection page.
7. Under "Select your firmware version", choose your console's firmware version. Getting this right is very important ! If you have an OLD 3ds select you corresponding firmware starting with OLD. If you have a NEW 3ds select you corresponding firmware starting with NEW. Once you're sure you did it right, hit the Submit button.
8. Wait for a few seconds. If you did all the previous steps right, the exploit should run and the Homebrew Launcher should load up !

After all this, next step, The Save Manager:------------------------------------------------------------------

1) Download the Save Manager Homebrew at this link: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/s/6vwl...manager.7z

2) Unzip the contents into the "3ds" folder on the SD card.

3) Run your Youtube APP, let it load the homebrew and at the Homebrew Channel, select the Save Manager, should be the last item.

4) Move your joystick to the left or to the right until you see your pokemon game in the square, after it is there, press A.

5) In the next screen, make a backup from your save, pressing A.

6) Now, you can turn off your Nintendo 3DS/New Nintendo 3DS.
6a) Put the SD card on your PC (use a sdcard adapter in case your computer doesn't have compability, you will notice a new folder: "SaveDataBackup", open it and inside that, a file named simply "main", create a folder on your desktop called SaveBackup or something and copy this file into that folder, just incase something goes wrong you wont lose your original save this way.

7) Open PKHex and if your SDcard is in on your pc, it will automaticaly load into pkhex.

8) Edit as you want ( If you need legit pokemons, ill post some links in which you can get their qr codes.)

9) To save your changes, go to the SAV tab and export your save aka "main" and replace it with the one inside the SaveDataBackup. (if there's any more files inside this folder the next steps will not work).

Setting the "PKHexed" save as the main save aka replacing with the modded one.

10) Put the SD on your 3DS, turn it on, and access the Homebrew Channel (youtube app). Go into the Save Manager, select your Pokémon game.

11) This time, you will press B to restore the save. After that, press X to exit.

12) In the Homebrew homescreen, press Start then A to reboot your 3DS.

13) Open your Pokémon game and enjoy your new Pokemon

How to Use QR Codes with PKHex------------------------------------------------------------------

1) Open the qr code website.
2) Copy the image link, something like this, http://prntscr.com/69fx9l, or only the square part.
3) Go to your PKHex.
4) Where it says "QR!" alt + right click it.
5) Your QRCode Pokemon appears on this step.
6) Go to the Box you want to set your pokemon into.
7) Right click a empty spot and select SET.
8) That's it, just SAV your save and do the "Modded Save Replacing Method" again.
9) If you want to fill the whole box with the pokemon you just got the qr code, Ctrl + Alt + Left Click on a empty box.

How to add a working EON Ticket------------------------------------------------------------------

2) Extract the files into desktop.
3) Open PKHex with your Save already loaded.
4) Click where it says "Wondercard".
5) Where it says "Wondercards:" select a empty one.
6) Import the file you extracted "2048 - It's an Eon Ticket!.wc6"
7) Something like this will appear "Card #: 2048 - It's an Eon Ticket!
Item: Eon Ticket
Quantity: 1"
8) Click the < arrow.
9) Save.
10) Export your Save file, do the usual steps, and when you're ingame go to a pokecenter, the event girl will be there and tell you to meet "your father".
11) Capture latios or latias.

"

How to EASILY Pokegen in ORAS with just a QR Code

If you had a tough time of following my other pokegen tutorial, then this is the one for you, this cannot cause any bad eggs of any kind, even if you do it incorrectly.

WHAT YOU NEED:

ORAS
A 3DS (New3DS Not compatible as spider3DSTools is only for 3DS)
System Firmware 9.0-9.5.0-22 (Tested myself on firmware 4.5, 8.1, 9.2, 9.5. Only 9.2 and 9.5 worked. I also tested this on 9.5 EmuNAND, that didn't work either.) To check the firmware, go to the system settings. This is also not compatible with EmuNAND if you are a gateway or MT Card user.

STEP 1: Making the Pokemon

Download PKHex above and open it up and make your pokemon, how to make the pokemon is basically self explanatory. The main tab is for the level of your pokemon and the species and etc, Met is for the location you met the pokemon at, Stats is for IVS and EVS. Hint! If you want to have all 252 in EVS, rename PKHeX to PKHaX, it'll be illegal in battles though. Attacks is- well, its attacks and OT/Misc is choosing the OT of your pokemon and more.

STEP 2: Saving the file and exporting the pk6 as a QR Code

Once you are done with making the pokemon, save the file as a pkx, no specific name is needed.

Now what you need to do is export the file as a QR Code so you can read it on the 3DS, Go to this website and then drag the pkx file into the box.

STEP 3: Injecting the pokemon into your game.

Now, you open up your 3DS and then go into ORAS and go into the pokemon center, BE SURE NOTHING IS IN BOX 1 SLOT 1 as that's the slot the pokemon is going to be. Now, go to the home menu and then activate the camera by using L + R, and then click the QR Code button, let it read the qr code and it'll lead you to the internet browser, wait 15 seconds and then it'll give you an error screen. Go back into your game and check the PC and the pokemon should be there!

PKHeX Mass Box Save Edit

As many of you are probably aware there is the new PKHeX and sd card pokegenner for x/y and oras and with it it is possible to export and import boxes Using this method

For the idea i thought of (may have been thought of before but i came up with it on my own) loading profile saves in PKHeX and exporting the boxes into the sd card and finally putting everything in pokebank and retrieving your old save of boxes

NOTE:You most likely will want to have pokebank unless you are willing to lose your pokemon in boxes ALL boxes

Now on to how to do it

#1 follow the tutorial by sleepjirachi originally posted and get box importing and exporting set up

#2 export your box using pcout and make a copy (backup) of it in a folder on your pc (this is for the ones using pokebank and are not willing to lose their saves) (in case you haven't guessed it's the pcdata.bin you need to make a backup of)

#2.1 get the download you want and drag the file into pkhex you can export using the method by sleepy jirachi and it's original creator

#3 once the back up is made put the boxes you've loaded into pokebank (or keep them and it's over for you no need to go further)

#4 go to PKHeX and load your old save in an export it back to your 3ds and load it with pcin

#5 you should have all the pokemon from the save downloaded and in pokebank plus your originals in the boxes

[XY & ORAS] How to PokeGen on XY/ORAS Without Gateway or Cyber Gadget

The time has finally come, a way to pokegen in ORAS and XY Without the need of gateway or a cyber gadget!

REQUIREMENTS:
PKHeX, the Gen 6 Equivalent to PokeGen (Clicking this will lead to the projectpokemon page)
SD Card Reader
3DS SD Card
A computer
An OLD 3DS on System Firmware 9.0-9.5

This process is really easy but a lot of people forget to do these simple steps, be sure to follow through.

1. Download PKHeX, the link is above.
2. Download code.zip (Clicking on the link will download code.zip), extract it and put code.bin in the root of your 3DS' SD Card like this example.
3. Use PKHeX to make your pokemon, and save the file as an ek6 and name the file pokemon.ek6, then save to your sd card.
4. Change the file extension from ek6 to ekx.
5. Eject your SD Card from your computer and go into ORAS and be sure that NOTHING is in BOX 1 SLOT 1. That will be the spot where the pokemon will go to.
6. Go to the 3DS Web Browser and Clear your History and Cookies
7. Go to loadcode.projectpokemon.org, your 3ds web browser will glitch up and it should go back to the home menu and say an error has occured.
8. Exit the home menu, go into your pc and your genned pokemon should be in Box 1 Slot 1! Congrats, you have successfully have pokegenned!

As always, you have to give credit to your hackers, Kaphotics and SciresM for this Exploit. A big thanks to them! Without them both, we wouldn't have PKHeX or the browser exploit to pokegen.

Only Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire Game Cards or downloadable versions are permitted.
Players may use Pokémon from the National Pokédex, from No. 001–719, that are caught in the game, transferred from a previous Pokémon title, or received at an official event or distribution
The following Pokémon may not be on a player’s team:

Double Battle
15 Minute Time Limit
Pokémon are allowed to Mega Evolve.
Pokémon may not hold the item Soul Dew.
Pokémon above Level 50 are permitted, but they are auto-leveled down to 50 for the duration of battle.
Players may use Pokémon with Hidden Abilities.
Players may use items that have been officially released via Pokémon X, Pokémon Y, Pokémon Omega Ruby, Pokémon Alpha Sapphire, the Pokémon Global Link, or an official event or promotion.
Players are not allowed to make any changes to their teams.

Blue Pentagon

Pokémon used in the VGC 2015 format must have a blue pentagon in the Pokémon summary screen. This indicates that the Pokémon was caught during regular gameplay, hatched from an Egg, obtained within the game, or was officially gifted in either Pokémon X, Pokémon Y, Pokémon Omega Ruby, or Pokémon Alpha Sapphire.

How to Pokegen in XY/ORAS! (WIP)

Hey guys, due to the unexpected popularity of my PokeGen requests post I'm going to show you guys how to do it yourself!!
This is still a work in progress, but you should be able to follow through just fine. If you need any help, just ask! I'll be adding pictures and possible a video soon.

What You'll Need:

-A copy of Pokemon Black, White, Black 2, or White 2 versions ~$25

-A 2DS or 3DS (you should already have this)
-PokeBank and PokeTransporter ~$5

-An R4i Save Dongle (more about this later) ~$15

-A laptop with Windows XP or 7 (you should already have this)
(I use a Mac, so I can do a Mac tutorial if requested)

What is and where do you buy an R4i Save Dongle?

The save dongle is a USB device with a slot to put your game cartridge in and plugs into your computer. You can upload your .SAV file onto your computer, edit it, and then upload the new .SAV file back onto your cartridge. I bought mine from http://www.bestr4i3ds.com/r4i-save-dongle-c-8.html

What's the difference between PokeGen/Save Dongle and PowerSaves?
I've actually never used PowerSaves, but I think that you edit the Pokemon's stats/shinyness/etc. But the main difference is that you can't do what Save Dongle and PokeGen does with PowerSaves: making and injecting custom Pokemon. So if you want to edit preexisting Pokemon, both can do that, but if you want to make and then upload custom Pokemon to your game, you're going to want Save Dongle and PokeGen. (We'll talk about an alternative, PKHeX, later.)

Once you have everything, let's get started! The first thing you'll want to do is get to a point where you've received a Pokedex and gotten to a Pokemon Center in your BW/BW2 game. This shouldn't be too hard! Then, you'll need to download drivers, SaveDongle Backup/Restore, Firmware Uploader, Firmware Download, and PokeGen. All of these files can be found on the SaveDongle's official website, http://www.r4i-sdhc.com/SaveDongle.asp

Install everything. (Still working on this part. I'll need to uninstall everything so I can write down the instructions exactly and maybe get a few pictures, so please bear with me!)

Insert your BW/BW2 cartridge into the slot on the save dongle, then plug the save dongle into your computer. Press the green 'Card --> PC' button, name the file, and wait until it finishes. Next, you'll want to open up PokeGen, and open up your .sav file in PokeGen. If you've done everything correctly, your current PC boxes and the Pokemon inside them should display. Now, you can go ahead and import a .pkm file from a resource such as https://www.pokedit.com/download/default...emon-black. Just drag and drop the file from your computer onto an empty space in your box. Or, you can go ahead and make your own, although I find it much easier to just get a PKM from Pokedit and edit it to my own specifications. How to edit it? Well, it's pretty self explanatory since there is a panel of editable.. things next to your box, just type in what you want.

Okay, now it's time to get your edited SAV back to the cartridge. In PokeGen, go to File < Save, or Save As if you want to keep the original SAV as a backup. This is useful should your data become corrupted for any reason. Now, head back to the r4i Dongle program, and select 'PC --> Card.' Choose the .sav file you want to upload, whatever you saved it as in PokeGen. Wait until it finishes, then pop the cart out and insert it into your 3ds. Go into the game and your freshly genned pokemon should be there! Save and exit the game. Now, just use Pokebank and Poketransfer with your BW2 game like you would normally! If for some reason it does not go through, try genning another one. Check that nothing is obviously illegal, the most crucial is moves and ability. For the most part, don't worry about anything else, as Pokebank does a horrid job of checking for genned 'mons. If it all goes through, congrats! Have fun seeing your custom-made Poke in beautiful 3D.

TL;DR Buy the equipment, install the programs, gen your Pokemon, upload it back onto cart, Pokebank, done.

A Beginner Breeding Guide

Hello!

Since the new VGC is coming up I wanted to make a short (beginner) breeding-guide for everyone who wants to get into competitive battling! I might have missed something but if you saw I did just tell me! I never wrote so much in one topic so the chance is there that I DID miss something lol.

Also breeding like this should pretty much be the same in ORAS but with different locations. I can't confirm this for sure tho since I still didn't finish ORAS myself.

What do you need before we start breeding
✿ A Pokemon you want to breed with the right nature (If you want to pass on the ability: make sure it's a female)
✿ The Power Items that you can find in the Battle Maison in Kiloude City
✿ An Everstone, found at Geosenge Town.
✿ A Destiny Knot, found at Cyllage City or Lumiose City
✿ A lot of different kind of Dittos with different perfect IVs
✿ A pokemon with the Flame Body ability like Talonflame/Fletchinder (This is recommended since you also need a pokemon with fly)
✿ (optional) Hatching O-Power level 3
(✿ If you're in for some "life-hacks" : a piece of paper or a dime to stick under your circlepad so you don't have to hold that button yourself while hatching the eggs)

Okay so I got the items, what now?
✿ Have the pokemon you want to breed. If you want to pass down the ability then make sure to use a female one since the chance is higher that they will pass it on.
✿ Find someone with a ditto safari. Ditto's are breeder's best friends. Seriously, get a Ditto friend safari and catch as many as you can!
✿ Once you caught several ditto's go to the IV checker in Kiloude City and mark the perfect IVs they have with the symbols you can change at the computer.
OR: go to the name rater and change the names of the dittos to the IVS they're perfect in, like HpAtk/AtkSpee/AtkDefSpe/ect.

STEP 01

Place the ditto and the pokemon you want to breed in the daycare, i'm using Beautifly so that I don't have to run so much to hatch all these eggs but you can use any pokemon you like. Let the ditto hold the Destiny Knot and let the other pokemon hold the everstone.

As you can see in the picture above: The Ditto I caught has 3 perfect IVs, HP, Attack and Speed while my Beautifly has no IVs at all, this is where the Destiny Knot will start working. When you breed, you have 3 possibilities for the IV of each stat for the baby. The first is that the child will have the mother's IV for that stat, the second is that it will have the father's, and the third is that it will randomly choose an IV for that stat. Thanks to the Destiny Knot you will have more luck that the offspring of the two will have 1/2 perfect IVs. The Everstone is there to pass on the nature of the pokemon that's holding it. In gen 6, you can give it to the male or female and there is a 100% chance of the egg inheriting the nature.

Put the pokemon with Flame Body in your first slot and hatch the first set of eggs.

~ 5 hatched eggs later ~

Visit the IV checker in Kiloude city and check with every pokemon you hatched the IVs. Here's a list of the ones I hatched:

Of course there is also a chance that you will hatch offsprings with no IVs at all, if that's the case try again till you're happy with the result.

STEP 02

As you can see we only hatched 2 egss with 1-2 perfect IVs. This of course isn't what we wanted but Beautifly #5 is the best result of them all. Now box all the other pokemons expect for the one with the best IVs (which is #5 in my case) and fly back to the daycare. Swap the pokemon out with the best IVs with the pokemon you started. This is because, if BOTH parents have flawless IVs, the baby is more likely to have it too it thanks to the Destiny Knot!

So as I said before swap the old pokemon out for the new one. Don't forget to give the new pokemon the everstone! Now just do the same thing as first, hatch the first set of eggs.

~ 5 hatched eggs later ~

STEP 03

Beautifly #10 has 31/31/X/X/X/31! Now you have a Beautifly with perfect IVs in HP, Attack, and Speed! This can be much harder than the first step so don't give up if it failed the first time. It took me around ~20 eggs until I finally got this one.

Now it's time to swap out the Ditto and repeat the same steps as I explained before. For this step I used my X/X/X/31/31/X ditto that has the same nature as my Beautifly.

Now you can do three different things to get even more IVs

1) Take both pokemons out of the daycare and put the new Ditto + the other pokemon with the highest IVs in the daycare. I let my Beautifly hold the Destiny knot this time since it haves more IVs and gave my ditto the everstone so that I would still pass on the nature. Repeat the step I explained in step 01/02 (breeding/IV checking) until you have a pokemon with either 4 or 5 IVs

2) Take both pokemons out of the daycare and put the new Ditto + the other pokemon with the highest IVs in the daycare. I let my Beautifly hold the Destiny knot this time since it haves more IVs and gave my ditto one of the power items. The power item will make sure that the IV that belongs to the right power item will be passed on in the next generation. Read the description of the power item so that you know which one it is. Hatch eggs until you hatched your pokemon with 4IVs.

Each Power Item will pass down it’s corresponding stat to the baby and ONLY that stat from that Parent. Example: If I give a Ditto the Power Bracer, the Ditto will only pass down it’s Attack IVs. The other parent can still pass down their IVs though.

If you do this step then it's not for 100% sure you will hatch a pokemon with the right nature

3 Take both pokemons out of the daycare and put the new Ditto + the other pokemon with the highest IVs in the daycare. Do the same as in step 2: Give the new pokemon the Everstone and the new Ditto the Destiny Knot until you hatch a pokemon with 4/5IVs.

Just repeat these same steps over and over again with other dittos/Off springs until you finally have your 5IV almost flawless pokemon! If you're a die-hard breeder and want 6IV you can always continue of course but most pokemons don't need all IVs + it's rare to get so it can take boxes until you finally have one!

Also if anyone is interested: This took me ~82 eggs to get this result, eggs before this are not counted with it.

How To Clone Pokemon in Pokemon X & Y without a powersave 3ds!

Before i start this I'm going to tell you right now that you will fail at times. Don't let that discourage you. Just keep on trying.
[I don't know if it still works in the 1.3 patch]

Things You'll need:
1. 2 Nintendo 3ds's
2. 1 copy of either pokemon X or pokemon y on both 3ds''s
3. Stopwatch

Let's say i want to clone a Shiny Jirachi.

You will want to start the trade with the 3ds that DOESN'T have the Shiny Jirachi

*Note that you're going to have to trade a pokemon that you want deleted forever*

Initiate the trade and offer your Pokemon you want traded using the 3ds that has the pokemon you want cloned.

Using your other 3ds (The one that doesn't have the Pokemon you want cloned) Offer a pokemon that you wouldn't mind getting deleted forever.

After you press the Trade button, you don't care about the 3ds that doesn't have the Pokemon you want cloned on it. You only care bout the 3ds That originally had the Pokemon you wanted to clone.

Since the Pokemon that's going to be deleted is being transferred to the 3ds that originally had the pokemon you wanted to clone, you're going to press the power button approximately 4.5 seconds after the blue screen comes back up. Remember to press start on your stopwatch AS SOON AS the blue screen comes back up.
