So... what do all of you consider actually beating a pokemon game? (In this case I'm talking about a standard game, along the lines or red, blue, gold, silver, ruby, sapphire, etc, and not necessarily the spin-off games like the TCG, Shuffle, Stadium, etc).
Collecting all 8 badges?
Beating the Elite Four and the Champion?
Collecting all Pokemon available in your version of the game?
Collecting all Pokemon in your game's regional Pokedex?
Completing the National Pokedex?
As little i throught that the journey was over when you got all the badges. Then i started all over again. Cuz. The pokemon journey stop there. There is nothing to do anymore. (Now that i got into shiny hunting thats a other way i see it now.)
Honestly Buddy, I consider beating the elite four and champion as "beating the game" because thats seriously the only part with all the credits and what-not and when u complete a pokedex, collect all gym badges, or collect all pokemon in your version you dont get credits as it were to pratically go like this...
Example of why they only do it after elite four
Trainer: Oh yeah i collected every pokemon!
Game: Time for another 23 mins worth of credits
2 YRS LATER
Trainer :Yes i finally have all the gym badges !
Game: Time for another 23 mins worth of credits
get it...
Well of course this is just MY opinion so believe what you want to believe @Cubonefan
