Personally, and no offense to anyone, but Garchomp needs some help against Ice types. Maybe it's just the fact that a almost max EV Ice Beam from my Porygon2 is a pretty much guaranteed OHKO (In all my fights, only one Garchomp has survived it), but it's weakness really kills it.

wow a pokémon has a weakness, how surprising!
I know, every Pokemon has a weakness, but few have a 4x one. Moreover, most weaknesses don't result in OHKOs, except for in Garchomps case.

thats a lie considering there are a lot of very common and threatening pokémon in every metagame with 4x weaknesses, namely dragonite, ferrothorn, scizor, salamence, landorus, kartana, etc. lol

And what do those 4x weaknesses result in? An OHKO. And if a Pokemon is only going to last for one turn on the field, it is not as effective as it could be. Sure, Garchomp is powerful, and a major A+ tier threat, but because it can be taken out in one hit by a common Porygon2 Ice Beam, it's just not as good as it could be.

I'm not trying to look down on Garchomp or call it a poor Pokemon. It is just easily countered.
