Should I giveaway pokemon with the item they use in battle, like the froslass holding a focus sash, or helpful items, like hitmonlee holding a lucky egg?

Personally I would prefer them having the battle items, but I freely admit that's mostly out of laziness. Either is fine, just grateful for all the giveaways you do
