[DISCUSSION] [PLZA] Allow me to break the ice

Yo! How's it goinnn? So, I thought I'd try to bring a little life here,
I'm Esté, and I'd like to shoot a shot in the dark and attempt to kickstart something, no matter how small.

So, how about it?

Pokémon Legends: Z-A released almost a month ago now, and although it still has its flaws (could really do with some more dimensionality in those buildings...), I've loved the entire experience. 

Before any potential discussion into specifics begins, though, I have my own priorities...



...Because a dream of mine has been realised. This is Mega Barbaracle (albeit in much worse picture quality than the game itself). I adore this thing with all of my heart. It is baby, and I may hear otherwise, but I will not be listening.

Aaaanywhooo, Mega Dimensions is also around the corner now, and I am very excited for that, too. 

But this is a discussion forum - or at least, it had been at one point. There's still that potential, and even if everyone is busy, even if the userbase is small - why wait for it to revive itself? Without further ado...

I want to make this a continued discussion thread, so I'll choose one thing to mention each day I can.

First of all, I'll discuss Barbaracle a little more.

For it to be the first type-changing new Rogue Mega made me greatly happy. It's the small things.

For the longest time, I'd been known to prefer a cutesy look. And still Barbaracle was always a Pokémon I deeply loved and valued. I don't even have any particular memories causing that to be the case. I simply adore it.

It is beauty. It is grace. It will punch you in the face.

There truly isn't an element of Mega Barbaracle that I dislike.

It's nice to finally have a battle with it! It would've been sweet to have a dedicated battle theme, but ah well, at least we have it!

Of course, I'm hoping Hoopa has more in Mega Dimension. Volcanion itself was also given the short end of the stick, but Hoopa is at least the focus of the DLC...

We'll just have to see! In the meantime, I'll be able to sit and admire the Royal Pink Princess!

Another dream Mega that I never saw coming.



I love it already, and we're getting one more before the release of the DLC, to be revealed on the 2nd of December!!!

So, let's discuss another Mega Evolution, one I more expected,



But I never expected it to be this different. Then again, it's more of what's already there with a few embellishments - I don't know how else I expected it to look.

I am such a big fan of all of these Mega Evolutions, and Froslass is a wonderful example of how 'more of the same' becomes something with such different impact.

The base, the sounds the Rogue makes in battle, it feels like it gets to shine as well as it ever could have.

So these are real now.



Once again, I adore it! The Clawitzer tease was ruuuuuuudeeeeee, but what a slap this was.



It makes me wonder who else will be getting one.

The mechanics also change with the introduction of this element.

Essentially, Z Mega-Evolved Pokémon will be capable of making more moves in less time, but will also have a shorter duration to their Mega-Evolved state.

So, Mega Dimension has released, I have finished much of the postgame and seen every currently implemented Mega Evolution, 
I know of one that is not yet in the game, but I do not know which Pokémon it is, only that it is a specific type of Mega Evolution.

I adored this whole thing, and will definitely be posting more details come January.
