DO SOME QR CODES NOT WORK?

guys i know that nintendo became aware of the qr codes but it will only fail if you update your nintendo 3ds.i didn't update my=ine yet but in the thread how to get pokemon using qr codes i noticed that the qr codes that magoddness gave didn't work for me.the codes that nickdance3 gave were all working perfectly so if this is some kind of error then please fix it.
